We are currently Approved Inspecting Architects for London, Leicester, Coventry, Gloucester and Birmingham Dioceses, as well as being Architects for Non-Conformist, Roman Catholic churches and private chapels. We also continue to inspect and oversee repairs for a number of disused churches under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
Our ecclesiastical work occurs countrywide but is largely focused on the Midlands, Merseyside, Cheshire and the South East. It covers conservation and repairs, as well as alterations and improvements for changes of use or greater comfort. Common works include repairs to roofs and stonework, the
introduction of WC or disabled access facilities but we have also been privileged to work on unique pieces of art and craftsmanship, such as wall paintings and stained glass.
We have worked with numerous Parishes to assess the condition of their buildings, prepare schedules of work, budgets and grant applications; we also offer services to prepare and submit HLF and other grant applications on the behalf of Parishes where this is felt to be beyond their skillset or experience.
